The general idea behind my art is simple: My aim is to

create images that draw people towards them. Whether or

not I achieve this is open to debate, (and dependent on personal tastes) but I hope that at least some of my painting comes close.

 

My own personal taste in art tends towards traditional painting, in particular impressionist landscapes. I try to reflect the warmth & colour of these types of paintings in my own work.

 

My current obsession is with skies, in particular light through clouds, and the local weather currently supplies endless inspiration for these.
